As I predicted yesterday, indices changed marginally. Two indices moved opposite directions.
The All Share Price Index went up by 0.78 points to 2398.30 while the Milanka declined 0.49 points & closed at 2761.16.
Turnover was LKR 173.6 million.
Continued investor interest seen for LIOC shares with over 2 Million shares traded. It was closed LKR 27 (Up LKR 1.25)

JKH acquires additional stake in SAGTAsian Development Bank exercised their put option in respect of their 7.5% share of South Asia Gateway Terminals Limited (“SAGT”). John Keells Holdings PLC (“JKH”) acquired its pro rata entitlement of 4.22% of the share capital of SAGT for a consideration of US$ 4.41 million. The balance was acquired by APM Terminals BV.
