Colombo stocks gained on increased retail investor activity fueled by military success against terrorist.

All share index was up by 15.61 points to close at 1652.80 while Milanka index ended the day 21.68 points higher at 1747.81.

Turnover was however Rs 46.3 million. Ceylon Tobacco Company was up by Rs 4.00 to close at Rs 100.00. Dialog Telekom gained 10 cents to close at Rs 4.90.

Lanka Cement Plc continued to trade in high volume with 407000 shares traded. JKH added another one rupee and closed at Rs 64.00.
