Colombo Stock Market opened on extremely positive note but later it was came down gradually & managed to close few points higher over previous closing.
ASI ended the day 5.78 points higher at 2368.87 while MPI closed almost unchanged at 2640.79. Turnover was Rs 201.3 million.
Index heavy weight Dialog Telekom was up by 25 cents (5%) to close at Rs 5.25. Blue Chip John Keells Holdings gained two rupees to end at Rs 130.00.
Over one million shares of Pan Asia Bank (PABC) traded today & closed 75 cents higher at Rs 14.25.
Local investors worried over low foreign participation in Colombo Stock Exchange over previous few weeks.
